ONE DAY URBAN SKETCHING WORKSHOPS
IN THE UK
WITH TARIA DAWSON

🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧

Join me, Taria Dawson, for a day of creative exploration as we sketch our way through some of the UK’s most charming cities. These workshops focus on building a complete sketchbook spread — combining loose architecture, quick vignettes, and visual storytelling.
You’ll learn how to simplify complex scenes, sketch confidently on location, and create a page that captures the feeling of a place — all in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Perfect for beginners and intermediate sketchers. All you need is your sketchbook and your curiosity

✨ What You’ll Learn

This isn’t just a sketching workshop — it’s a guided creative experience that helps you capture a city in a single sketchbook spread. Whether you’re a beginner or more experienced, you’ll learn how to:

  • Design a beautiful, cohesive sketchbook page

  • Select key elements of a scene — and leave out the rest!

  • Combine ink, watercolour, and found ephemera to bring your spread to life

  • Sketch quick, loose, and confidently — even in a busy public space

  • Add contrast, depth and storytelling to your sketches

  • Reflect your personal experience of the place through your art

By the end of the day, you’ll have a complete and memorable spread — ready to show off and keep as a travel memory.
